Unapologetic Songs of the Sea

May 2 at 7:30 p.m. & May 3 at 3 p.m. JBK Theater at Frederick Community College

Join the CASF for a rousing, seafaring finale to their 81st season!  From Gilbert and Sullivan to Disney and back, this delightful musical journey across the sea invites you to tap your toes, sing “yo-ho’s” and usher in the summer! Fun for the entire family (and intended to be engaging for the young ones), this concert is sure to tickle your funny bones, challenge your knowledge of seaweed, and leave you Titanically entertained.

Mozart in March

Postponed – Fall 2025

The CASF will present Mozart’s Mass in C Major, the Coronation Mass. Accompanied by orchestra and soloists, the choir will present an afternoon of musical delights, written by or about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is sure to be a program which both delights and intrigues the listener.

Tickets

Tickets are sold in advance from your favorite choir member or online. We may have limited tickets available for purchase at the door, but we have been known to sell out so we recommend reserving tickets with a choir member in advance if you do not wish to purchase online.

CASF uses Eventbrite for all online ticket orders. Online ticket sales may include a service fee and will be delivered by email. There are no refunds, but exchanges are permitted. Eventbrite provides a secure online transaction platform for ticket sales and allows you to sign up to learn about future events. Please see their terms of service for more details.

Venue Information

CASF hosts regular season events in Jack B. Kussmaul Theater at Frederick Community College. Patrons can buy general admission seating tickets online in advance, or at the box office before the show. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. This venue does have wheelchair seating available. Fire regulations limit the capacity of the theater to the number of seats available (409). Parents may not hold children in their laps without providing a separate seat.

CASF occasionally hosts events in Coffman Chapel at Hood College. The main sanctuary seats 750 guests. Parking is available in the Chapel Lot beside the building and in the parking structure. This is a historic building and there are stairs to access the main areas of the building.
